This Saturday, our monthly meeting will explore what it means to place our words, creativity, and God-given gifts in His hands. We’ll consider how surrender, Scripture, excellence, and trust can transform our writing from simply a craft into an act of worship.

Come be encouraged to write for God’s pleasure, give Him your best work, and leave the results in His hands.

I am excited to announce that we will have a special guest presenter joining our group this Saturday.​ Dr. Chris​topher Parker, a professor at Montclair State University, will be with us to share his expert tips for creative writing. This is a wonderful opportunity for the group to experience new creative processes in your writing. 

​T​his will be our last meeting before we take off for July and August. 

NJCWG Meeting - April 11, 2026

This month, we will talk about what makes a compelling author bio. We'll share some tips and work on them during the first half of our session. This is helpful whether you are looking to publish a book, submit an article, or just gain clarity for your identity as an author. Think about what you might like to include in it. It is recommended to create a long version for your website and a short version for book jackets and guest posts. If you already have a bio, bring it. You might want to edit it or be affirmed that it's great as is.
